2007 North American Curly Horse. 1/2 Missouri Foxtrotter.

Harriet is a well-conformed filly, who is very easy to train. We expect her to mature at around 14.1 to 14.2 hh. She will be registered with the NACHR/ICHO.

Recently, she completed her ground work with our professional trainer. She is easy to catch and quickly picks up on what her handler wants from her. According to our trainer, "Harriet is a sweetie pie - very willing and lots of try." Harriet will halter, lead, load, tie, and stand for the farrier and for grooming. At the trainer's, she was groomed by a 10 year old girl. She has been responding well to natural horsemanship cues in the round pen and will be ready to start light saddle training in the spring.

We also had her evaluated by a gaited horse trainer. His professional opinion, based on her movement at a trot, is that she is likely to gait under saddle, with proper training.

Her dam is an endurance-bred Curly Arabian, Al-Marah Red Cloak. Her sire is Renegait Cinnamon River, a full Missouri Fox Trotter from the Lucky Touch line. With that heritage, Harriet should make one awesome riding horse!

Through her dam, Al-Marah Red Cloak, Harriet goes back to the Damele's Arabian stallion, Nevada Red. Click here to see Harriet's info in the Curly Horse Pedigree Database.
